and Treating Charcot-Marie-Tooth Disease
Presented by Erick Janisse, CO, C. Ped.
disease – more accurately titled Hereditary Motor Sensory Neuropathy (HMSN) –
is a condition that most pedorthists will be tasked with treating at
some point in their careers. Being a
neurological condition, it is not at all a straight forward and simple problem. Therefore, the pedorthic treatment of HMSN is
also complex and is often unique to each situation. This program will give attendees insight
when dealing with someone who has HMSN.
We will explore the disease and its variations as well as pedorthic
treatment thereof. Participants of this program will be much better equipped to care for a patient with HMSN.
CEUS: This program has been awarded 1.5 Category 1 Scientific CEUs by the American Board for Certification in Orthotics, Prosthetics and Pedorthics (ABC) and the Board for Certification/Accreditation (BOC).
